Q: I am looking to mount over windows to darken the room with wooden shutters. Do you think this would work for that application?
A: Sure, that's a good idea.
Q: Do the doors come together for a complete close with no gap?
A: There is no overlap. Ours close completely (they come together all along the edge). If you're not careful about attaching the hangers your door won't hang straight and then there would be a gap.
Q: Do the two doors touch in middle?
A: We only have 1 four foot door. If mounted correctly, they should meet ok.
